How it works
Your ownership will be via a Unit Trust equity ownership structure and the term is 3 years with capital return on exit.
Each 10 per cent shareholding entitles the owner to 34 days use of the boat per year, spilt between summer/winter and weekdays/weekends to ensure each owner has fair and equal use of the boat. You can also have unlimited Standby days. We use an on-line booking system enabling you to choose the days you want to sail, booking up to 10 weeks in advance.
It’s a best-practice system that is tried and tested and has been shown to be both equitable and easy to manage.
Maintenance and customer service
Our maintenance and customer service systems have been developed to meet the stringent
demands of a successful charter fleet. To bring you truly carefree boating we provide:
• berthing
• insurance
• fuel, pumpout, water and gas
• laundry
• cleaning
• initial training
• on-water support
• carparking
• onshore showers and toilets.
We also administer the booking service, and all aspects of the running of the unit trust.
Cost
The cost of this complete maintenance and customer service is $470 a month.
Alternatively, if you don’t think you will use the boat enough, you can pay a fee of $250 per month then pay $470 each time you use it.
